Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026  ·  Qorix by BDA (Bloc Digital Apps)

Short version: Qorix uses Firebase to store your data securely in the cloud. Your browser's localStorage is used as a temporary session cache only — it is cleared when you close the application. Bug/feedback reports are sent via a third-party service, and PDF images are sent to your local AI server when you use the import feature.

1. How Your Data Is Stored

Qorix uses Firebase (Google's cloud platform) as its primary data store. Data you enter — including clients, invoices, expenses, products, contracts, and your business profile — is saved to your Firebase account and persists across sessions and devices.

Your browser's localStorage is used as a temporary session cache only. This means that when you close the Qorix application, any data held only in localStorage is wiped. Firebase remains the source of truth for your data.

By using Qorix, your data is subject to Google Firebase's privacy and data practices. BDA (Bloc Digital Apps) does not sell your data to third parties.

2. Bug Reports & Feedback

Qorix includes an optional "Submit Bug or Suggestion" feature. If you choose to use it, your submission (including the type, subject, and details you write) is sent via FormSubmit.co, a third-party form delivery service, to the Qorix support team.

FormSubmit.co processes your message in order to deliver it. Please review FormSubmit's privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.

Do not include sensitive financial data, passwords, or personal identification numbers in bug reports. Reports are submitted voluntarily and only when you click "Submit".

3. PDF Import & Local AI

Qorix includes an optional "Import PDFs" feature for invoices and expenses. When used, the first page of the selected PDF is rendered as a JPEG image and sent to an AI model server for data extraction.

By default this server is LM Studio running locally on your own machine at http://localhost:1234. Unless you have changed the LM Studio URL in Settings to point to a remote server, this image is processed entirely on your own device and never leaves your local network.

If you configure a remote LM Studio URL, you are responsible for understanding the data handling practices of that remote server.

4. Analytics & Cookies

Qorix uses analytics to monitor application performance, measure feature usage, and improve the user experience. This may include tools such as Google Analytics (GA4). Analytics data is aggregated and used solely to understand how the application is used — it is not used to identify individual users or shared with advertisers.

Qorix currently uses cookies for session management and authentication (via Firebase). In the future, additional cookies may be introduced to track application performance and user preferences. You will be notified of any material changes to cookie usage via an update to this policy.

5. Data Backup

While Firebase provides persistent cloud storage for your data, Qorix also gives you the ability to take a manual backup at any time via Settings → Data & Backup. We strongly recommend doing this regularly as an additional safeguard.

Remember that your browser's localStorage is only a temporary session cache — closing the application wipes it. Your canonical data lives in Firebase. If you lose access to your Firebase account, BDA is not responsible for data recovery.

6. Children's Privacy

Qorix is intended for use by adults running freelance or sole trader businesses. The application is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of Qorix after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
